So yeah, I spent most of the game flirting with Ben and Al, though from the little I saw (before coming on and scoring two, what?) we were decent in some areas, shocking in others.
I went for Marcus, who ran hs socks off today, scoring two himself and generally pulling the strings. I love watching Whapshot Junior, he is most definitley our most technically gifted player by a long shot.
Discussssssssssss

very tough choice this week for me to make. I was really pleased with everyones attitude in the second half and if we had started like we played in that half it would have been a very different result. certainly think mad dog needs a mention as he worked his socks off and in the second half despite requesting to be subbed he got a second wind and kept going, i enjoyed linking up with him and he delivered some great balls into dangerous areas, Farney was outstanding in every aspect & really gives us stregnth and composure up front. lawson and graham made an instant impact when they come on and it would have topped it off if graham had got a goal to award his hard work both out of position and when upfront but that said lets not forget that he made atleast 2 of the goals. As for lawson it seems that if he comes on from the bench he is buzzing so thats one to consider in the future!!!. i though jay had a much more effective game coming in from the left mid and kept running till the end. Quinsee was outstanding also. I could give praise to every player individually but you know in your own mind if you had a good game or not so im going to vote for marcus for this one as he never put a foot wrong all game, he chased every ball and showed some excellent skill, it really is good to have him back in the team and scoring again.

Gerry - Thought he did well, as although he conceeded 8 he didn't make any howlers, commanded his area and his kicking was good.

Grant - His positioning was good and kept a good line with his defence, put in a lot of effort. Just needs to be a bit more confident, but I know the difference between him and Jay now!!

Darren - Did well, as he was pulled about trying to fill in various gaps. Good distribution as always and like his organisation at the back, as it's good to have voices heard!!

Bruno - When he kept it simple he did ok, loves a challenge and if he cut out the Hollywood style balls that he isn't capable of making his game would improve.

Mad Dog - Always like to see him in the side, as he offers composure and great distribution. Trys to always give you an option of an outlet. Also doesn't dive into a challenge and watches the ball and not the players feet. A contender for my man of the match.

Quinsee - The past 2 weeks I think he's played well. Was my MOTM against Aldershot and did well again on Saturday. Got stuck in and even pulled out a trick or 2 plus a NUTSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Scott - Battled hard and ran himself ragged. Got into good positions and often found the man with his passes.

Steve - I thought he had a great first half, as he kept it simple, won a lot of the aerial battles and carried the ball well. Also delivered decent corners as well for us to attack.

Jay - I thought he did well on the wing and made a few good runs past his marker, which allowed us to find him in space and he delivered well a few times. Great determination.

Marcus - He's in the Rooney mould in my eyes, as he's strong, quick and great technically. Chased a lot and gave the defence well and was always an option either over the top or through the channels. My MOTM.

Me - I had a mare really, but I scored so I have forgiven myself for the woefulness.

Lawson - Came on, got 2 and added energy to the midfield. Carried the ball well and looked dangerous when he got his hernia ridden legs going.

Lion - Did a great shift on the right hand side of midfield and gave Quinsee support, whilst also getting forward and being a threat. Has a lovely bottom as well.
